The Lancaster Barnstormers and Legends Hospitality Management will hold their annual job fair on Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Clipper Magazine Stadium, 650 N. Prince St.
As in years past, the team and the ballpark’s food-service provider are looking to fill 150 part-time game-day positions for the upcoming season.
Besides the 65 game days, the part-timers also work on days with special events.
Sought are outgoing and enthusiastic people to be ticket takers/sellers, parking attendants, ushers, bat boys/girls, Fun Patrol members, grounds crew, game production crew, suite attendants, concession stand supervisors/managers, cashiers, servers, cooks and other positions.
Most of the jobs pay minimum wage ($7.25 an hour), the team said.
Job seekers must be at least 16 years of age and have appropriate working papers if under 18. Applicants need to bring identification and all other paperwork to establish eligibility to work.
Customer service experience is preferred but not essential. Employees must be available to work nights and weekends from April through September. Candidates may also be required to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
The Barnstormers home opener is scheduled for Friday, April 26th at 7 p.m. against the High Point Rockers.
