The Rev. Donald G. Moyer, 83, of Cleona, formerly of Lititz, passed away on November 9, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Franklin, PA, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Ruth Karns Moyer, and the husband of the late Pearl Ditzler Moyer.

He received his Bachelor of Religious Education at Eastern Pilgrim College in Allentown. Donald served as pastor of the Lititz Evangelical Church, later worked for the Dana Corp. in Reading, and prior to his retirement was a custodian at Lititz Elementary School.

He is survived by his children, Darlene Bird, Reading; Glenn Moyer, husband of Daphne, Reading; Timothy Moyer, Pottsville; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Lester Moyer, Dempseytown; Richard Moyer, husband of Carole, Nevada City, CA; Timothy Moyer, Franklin; and a sister, Juanita James, OH.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, November 16th, at 7:00 P.M. at the Lititz Wesleyan Church, 540 E. Newport Rd., Lititz, preceded by a visitation with the family from 6:00 P.M. until time of service. Burial will be private. Contributions may be made in his memory to Lititz Wesleyan Church.
