Frances O. Minnich, 86, of Elizabethtown, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 16, 2012 at ManorCare in Elizabethtown. Born in Elizabethtown, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Katie (Gall) Oberholtzer. She was the wife of the late Forrey N. Minnich who died in 2009.

A homemaker, Frances enjoyed reading, puzzles and word searches, but faith and family were most important to her. She was a member of Rissers Mennonite Church, Elizabethtown.

She is survived by a daughter, Mim, wife of Dave Dohner, Mount Joy; a son, Merv Minnich, Elizabethtown; a daughter-in-law, Jean, wife of Jerry Harnish, Bainbridge; six grandchildren and two great granddaughters.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marlin Minnich, who died in 1999, and a brother, Samuel Oberholtzer.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Rissers Mennonite Church, 8360 Elizabethtown Road, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. Friends may call on Sunday at Miller/Sekely Funeral Services, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown from 5:00-7:00 PM and on Monday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Rissers Cemetery.
