Alejandrina Colon Baez

Alejandrina Colon Baez, 68, of 435 Manor St., Lancaster, died at home on Wednesday, February 28, 2007.

Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Cristino Baez Santana and Tomasa Cartajena.

She was a homemaker and a member of the San Juan Bautista Catholic Church.

Surviving are five sons, Jose Luis Colon, Juan Carlos Colon, Damian Colon, Arnaldo Colon, and Roberto Colon, all of Lancaster; five daughters, Catalina Colon of Harrisburg, Emma Iris Colon, Nilsa Colon, Alejandrina Colon, and Margarita Colon all of Lancaster; 37 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; a brother, Pellin Baez of Puerto Rico; two sisters, Dolores Baez of Puerto Rico and Maria Baez of Lebanon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church, 425 S. Duke St., Lancaster, PA with Rev. Jeffrey Thoms officiating. Friends may call at the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, on Friday from 5-8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
