City police are investigating a second bank robbery in the last two days.
A man robbed the PNC Bank at 949 E. King St. at 9:08 a.m. today, according to police.
He fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash prior to officers' arrival, police said. There was no weapon displayed, and no one from the bank was injured.
Police describe the suspect as a white man in his late 40s or 50s, medium build, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, with short gray and black hair and a full gray mustache.
"It doesn't appear to be related to the bank robbery yesterday," Sgt. Mike Winters said. "The suspect has a different description."
Police ask that anyone with information related to the robbery call Detective Jeffrey Bell at 735-3355 or Crime Stoppers at 664-2652. Callers may remain anonymous.
A pair of robbers held up the Northwest Savings Bank, 922 Columbia Ave., at 9:42 a.m. Thursday, according to city police.
No arrests have been made, Winters said.
