Blaine T. Shahan / Staff Betty Lenig, 90, of Lancaster, has logged more than 19,000 volunteer hours over 52 years at Lancaster General Hospital. Lenig has completed many tasks over the years, and now spends her Monday mornings working for the pathology department at LGH's downtown campus. She credits her devotion to volunteering to her mother's mantra of "sticking with something once you start it," and her co-workers.
