Grace N. Lesher
Grace N. Lesher, age 76, of Columbia, died peacefully, Friday, March 29, 2013 at the Susquehanna Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Elizabethtown, she was the daughter of the late William and Ana Moseman Urban. A loving homemaker, Grace was the wife of the late Stephen H. Lesher; he died August 4, 1996. She attended Lancaster Moravian Church and was a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Grace enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was a resident of Susquehanna Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 9 years, and the family would like to thank the staff and management, for their kindness and caring over these years.
Grace is survived by her children: Pamela J. Kirchgessner of Lancaster; Darlene Irwin of Lancaster; Douglas E., Sr. husband of Theresa Lesher of Columbia; Connie S. wife of Aaron Ashby of Lancaster; and Mark S., Sr. husband of Alice Lesher of Lancaster, her sisters: Alma Mellott of Lancaster; Mary Rambler of Buffalo, NY, her 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 8 brothers and 2 sisters. A funeral service for Grace will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2013, from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut Street, Columbia, at 11am (Viewing 10-11am) with Pastor Dean Easton officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. Please omit flowers.
