TODAY -- Lancaster Archery Club's 30-target 3-D shoot from 7 a.m.-noon; $10 for adults; free for kids 12 and under. Take Prince Street south from the city; right on Eckman Road.
TODAY -- Chestnut Hill Archery Club's 40-target 3-D shoot from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. Take Route 23 east to Morgantown; left on Route 10; left on Quarry Road to Conestoga Landfill access drive.
TODAY -- Ephrata Bowmen's 30-target, 3-D shoot from 7 a.m.-1 p.m.; $9. Take Route 222 north to Route 322 exit; go straight across Route 322 to Hahnstown Road; left on Mohler Church Road; left on Maple Street.
MARCH 12 -- Fox Harbor Archery Club's weekly indoor league shoot begins at 7 p.m. Archers shoot a 450 round, from the 20-yard line, at bull's-eye targets. Fee is $5 for the night, plus $5 if you want to join the league. Archers do not have to join the league to shoot. Take Route 30 west to Prospect Road; right on Prospect, then left almost immediately into Indian Head Road. The club is on the right.
MARCH 14 -- Lancaster Canoe & Kayak Club meets at 7 p.m. at Maple Grove Community Center, 1420 Columbia Ave. Main discussion topic will be paddling safety.
MARCH 15-16 -- Manheim Sportsmen's NRA course covering personal protection in the home. For details, call 627-0694. The club is at 552 Oak Tree Road.
MARCH 15-17 -- Mount Joy Sportsmen's indoor, 14-target, 3-D archery shoot from 5-8 p.m. on Fri. and 7 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sat. and Sun.; $8 for adults; $4 for kids 12-16. Take Route 283 west to Route 772 exit; left on Route 772; right on Old Market Street.
MARCH 16 -- Green Hill Sportsmen's block shoot begins at 1 p.m.; $5. The club is on River Road in Conestoga.
MARCH 16-17 -- Paradise Sportsmen's 40-target 3-D archery shoot from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sat. and 7 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sun.; $10 for adults; $5 for kids 13-16; free for kids 12 and under. Take Route 741 east from Strasburg; right on Belmont Road.
MARCH 17 -- Bainbridge American Legion block shoot begins at 1 p.m. The legion's shooting grounds are on Front Street.
MARCH 23 -- Lancaster Ducks Unlimited's 34th annual banquet begins at 5 p.m. at Lancaster Host Resort, 2300 Lincoln Highway East. Tickets are $60 for individual adults or $95 per couple. Call Dave Eller at 575-1390.
SUNDAYS -- Mill Creek Sportsmen's Association indoor handgun shoot from noon-2:30 p.m. Nonmembers, $15. Call 393-6416. Handgun safety course available.

WEDNESDAYS -- Adamstown Rod & Gun Club's trap shoot under the lights begins at 5 p.m.; $3. The club is at 563 Willow St., Reinholds.
WEDNESDAYS -- Southern Lancaster County Farmer-Sportsmen's indoor archery league runs for 10 weeks; $40. Take Route 272 south to Buck; left on Route 372; left on Hollow Road.
THURSDAYS -- Paradise Sportsman's Association's chicken trap shoot from 5-7 p.m.; $5. Take Route 741 east from Strasburg; right on Belmont Road.
