Hank and Deanna Lawrence's 50th wedding anniversary year started with a stay in Florida in March and ended with a trip to the Southwest in September. Self-described "beach bums", they visited several different beaches in between.They have one son,

John, and a daughter-in-law,

Caroline, of Lancaster. They also have a very special grandson, Reed. They enjoy traveling to the Outer Banks and the Poconos as a family. Watching their grandson's activities is a favorite pastime as well.Hank and Deanna were married at Concordia Lutheran Church on July 29, 1962. A surprise anniversary party was given by their son and daughter-in-law at Shank's Tavern in Marietta on July 28, 2012.Deanna was a reading

specialist for 32 years in the School District of Lancaster and Hank spent many years in the mortgage business. After retirement, Deanna spent 5 years as a school workshop leader at Landis Valley Museum. Their goal for next year is to attend their fourth major golf championship - The PGA. They have already attended the Master's, British Open at St. Andrew's, and the US Open.Deanna volunteers at Meals on Wheels in Millersville and is on the Mountville Bicentennial Committee. Hank volunteers as a marshal at Overlook Golf Course and enjoys playing golf as well. They attend the Hempfield U. M. Church. They reside in Mountville.
