Grace Doerrer, age 90, of Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim, formerly of Columbia, died peacefully, Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Irvin L. and Minnie B. Keyser Diehl. She was the 40 year companion of the late Leon G. Fornoff. Grace retired in 1987 from the former AMP, Inc., Lancaster. Earlier in life, she was a floor lady for the former Tidy Products, Columbia, for 30 years. Grace was a member of Lancaster Church of the Brethren. With her lively and joking personality, Grace was a beloved member of the Pleasant View Retirement Community, and will be deeply missed. Grace is survived by her nieces and nephews: Ronald B. Diehl of Mount Joy; Craig M. Diehl and Duane Diehl of York; Carol A. G. Chastain of Elizabethtown; Rodney Diehl and Teresa Diehl of Williamsburg, VA, her beloved friends members of the Landis Sangrey family, and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Daniel M. Diehl, Irvin H. Diehl, and Richard G. Diehl, her sister: Alice Good, and her nephews: Darrell Diehl and Karl Diehl.A funeral service for Grace will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013, from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut Street, Columbia, at 11am with Reverend Calvin Wenger officiating. Interment will follow in Mountville Brethren Church Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
