William H. Gantz
William H. "Bud" "Bill" Gantz, 90, of Conestoga, died on Friday, February 8, 2013 at St. Anne?s Retirement Community, Columbia after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Marian R. (Hoover) Gantz, who died in 2002.William enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors splitting firewood.Born in Conestoga, he was the son of late Elmer and Minnie (Denlinger) Gantz. William was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Millersville/Manor VFW Post 7294.Surviving are his three sons, William H. Gantz, Jr. married to Deborah (Rice), Edward J. Gantz married to Wanda (Stauffer), all of Conestoga and James L. Gantz married to Melissa (Stauffer), of Manheim Twp.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and two brothers, Lloyd and Clayton Gantz. He was preceded in death by siblings, Raymond "Dick" and Mabel Eckman.Memorial Services will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, 320 Blue Rock Road, Route 999, Millersville, PA 17551 on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 10AM (Visitation 9-10AM). Inurnment will be in the Stehman?s Greenfield Cemetery, Manor Twp, PA. Kindly omit flowers.
