Jewell sparks E-town
BOYS' BASKETBALL
Lucas Jewell poured in a game-high 27 points to propel Elizabethtown to a 60-52 victory over visiting Hershey in nonleague boys' basketball action Saturday.
Tyler Koser added 12 points for the Bears, while Jack Gundel paced the Trojans with 16.
Lebanon 52, Garden Spot 41: Josh Spaulding scored 15 points and Drey Murray added 12 for the Cedars, who outscored the Spartans 25-16 in the first half to take control of the game.
Nathan Duell had 12 and Colin Martin 11 to pace Spot.
Eastern York 64, Lancaster Catholic 54: Omar Lopez scored 16 points but it wasn't enough to lead Lancaster Catholic past Eastern York.
