H. Paul McClune
H. Paul McClune, 92, of Willow Street, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Mennonite Home.Born February 21, 1920 in Marticville, he was the son of the late Harold and Mabel McClune. He was married to Belva N. (Shaub) McClune for 69 years.A Veteran of WWII, Paul proudly served with the US Army where he was stationed in Europe for 2 1/2 years.Paul was an auto mechanic and retired from HH Wiggins/Larry Murphy/Faulkner Chevrolet, retiring after 46 years of service. He was a member of Willow Street United Church of Christ and the Willow Street Lions Club where he was named Lion of the year in 1992. He was also a member of the Pequea Sportsman?s Club and a past member of the Frogtown Hunting Club.Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Randal, husband of Patricia, of Landisville; Scott, husband of Susan, of Holtwood; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Edith Keiser, of Lititz and two brothers, Richard, of VA and Carl, of Willow Street.In keeping with Paul?s request, funeral services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Closed casket visitation will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, 320 Blue Rock Road, Route 999, Millersville, PA, on Tuesday evening between 7-8:30 PM.
