Harold Richard Killian
Harold Richard Killian, 66, of Mooresville, NC, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 30, 2013. He was born April 13, 1946, in New Providence, PA, the son of John and Verna Killian. Harold served in the U.S. Air Force, where he learned his trade and met his wife, Sharon. He was a gifted aircraft mechanic, loving husband, cherished father and beloved Papaw. Harold never met a stranger and embraced everyone with a warm and loving smile. Harold will be missed by all who knew him.Surviving are his beloved wife, Sharon; son, Douglas & wife, Annemarie; daughter, Cara and his four precious grandchildren, Dylan, Joshua, Melissa and John. He also leaves behind one sister, Lois and brothers, Ron & wife, Vivian, Ken, Bob & wife, Nancy, Bill & wife, Marilyn and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of his life will be held at 5:00 PM, Saturday, February 9, 2013, with the service beginning at 5:30 PM, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, 494 East Plaza Drive, Mooresville, NC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SECU Family House, 1970 Baldwin Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, is serving the Killian family.
