Benjamin M. Siar Jr., operator of the Gundel Funeral Home, Conestoga, turned himself in to county detectives Friday after investigators found four decomposing bodies in the basement during a search.

A county judge ruled defense attorney Jeffrey Conrad can represent accused killer Benjamin Klinger, 19, of Elizabethtown. In a federal report, the state Department of Environmental Protection failed to list the Susquehanna River as impaired, though numerous environmental and sportsmen's groups in the area disagree, citing fish disease and die-off, it was reported Tuesday. n
