BURGLARY CRIMINAL MISCHIEF DUI FALSE REPORTS FORGERY HARASSMENT HIT AND RUN LIQUOR VIOLATION SIMPLE ASSAULT
SALISBURY TWP.: A burglar entered an open garage in the 5300 block of Old Strasburg Road shortly before 8 p.m. Friday, state police said. He was going through a vehicle when he bumped against the horn. A resident of the home checked the garage, scaring off the burglar. Nothing was taken. The burglar was described as a male of unknown race, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a thin to medium build, wearing all black. Police ask anyone with information to call 299-7650.

MOUNT JOY: Candace W. Boyd, 64, of the 1300 block of Field Stone Drive, Mount Joy, was charged Monday after police said she used keys to scratch the paint of a vehicle in the 700 block of East Main Street. Damage was $766.99.
PEQUEA TWP.: Kimberly Gydush, 21, Oak Glen Drive, Pequea, was arrested for DUI and other traffic offenses at Marticville and Run Valley roads at 1:04 a.m. Friday by Southern Regional Police.
MOUNT JOY: Quinton Levi Johnson, 24, of the first block of South Charlotte Street, Manheim, was charged Monday in the first block of East Main Street after police said his vehicle struck a sign and a flower stand.
RAPHO TWP.: Dana Lee Gabriel, 21, Lancaster, was charged as the result of a traffic stop at 2:13 a.m. Jan. 21, state police said. Gabriel was pulled over for moving violations and was also charged with a red light violation, police said.
LANCASTER TWP.: A criminal complaint has been filed against Javier E. Negron-Silva, 29, of Chadwick Circle. Officers investigated a Jan. 13 crash in which a vehicle left the road and struck an embankment in Chadwick Circle. Later that morning, Negron-Silva reported his vehicle stolen and signed a statement to that effect. He later admitted the vehicle had not been stolen, and that he had been the driver, police said. He was charged with unsworn falsification, false reports to law enforcement and three traffic violations.
MOUNT JOY: Kote D. Kern, 19, of the 200 block of Sagamore Hill, Mount Joy, was charged with diverting five checks totaling $3,250, written to Trinity Alloys by Ephrata National Bank, into an account for his own use between Dec. 20 and Jan. 2.
MARTIC TWP.: State police accused Jason L. Donohue, 27, of Holtwood, of striking a man in the arm with a walking cane during an altercation Friday. A minor injury was reported, according to police. He was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct.
EAST DRUMORE TWP.: Janet Irene Kelly, 42, no address given, was arrested Wednesday after calling a Windwood Court home numerous times during the middle of the night, state police said. She had been told not to contact the person in the home.
MOUNT JOY: Jonathan L. Sumpman, 22, of the 800 block of Wood Street, Mount Joy, was charged on Tuesday in an incident in the 800 block of Wood Street.
DENVER: Johnny Irizarry, 25, of the 3600 block of Orkney Road, Mountville, has been charged with accident involving personal injury in a Dec. 20 incident in which he is accused of striking a 30-year-old man with his vehicle in the parking lot of Turkey Hill, 300 Main St., and fleeing the scene, police said. Irizarry was driving a vehicle owned by someone else, and he had a suspended driving license, according to police. The man struck is recovering in a hospital. Irizarry was committed to Lancaster County Prison on unrelated charges.
BOWMANSVILLE: State police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited Bowmansville Tavern, 1255 Reading Road, with conveying alcohol to a minor in January.
NEW HOLLAND: Gary Lee Boots, 53, of 546 Sandmine Road, New Holland, was arrested at the Hollander Motel, 320 E. Main St., Friday night, borough police said. Witnesses said he punched a female in the head numerous times, threw her to the ground outside of a room and kicked her midsection. The female suffered minor injuries but refused medical attention, police said. Boots was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
MOUNT JOY: Bradley Scott Adams, 21, of the first block of Manheim Street, was charged with simple assault, harassment, institutional vandalism and terroristic threats on Wednesday after a domestic dispute at his home. Adams punched and kicked a person multiple times, yelled profanities and threatened to punch and kill police officers trying to restrain him, police said. He kicked and beat his head against the window of a police cruiser and damaged the holding cell toilet by clogging it. John Adams Sr., 44, of the same address, was charged with simple assault in the incident.
