Barley Snyder has promoted David J. Freedman to partner.

Freedman, of Lancaster, concentrates his practice in labor and employment. He joined Barley Snyder in 2008 as an associate.

He holds a bachelor's degree from George Mason University and a law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law.

McConkey Insurance & Benefits has promoted Jeffrey A. Glass to vice president and principal.

Glass, of Lancaster, joined McConkey in 2007. Most recently Glass was a senior benefits consultant. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.

The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry has hired Andi Murphy as marketing and business services development director.

Murphy, of Lancaster, most recently was public relations director for Taylor Brand Group. She is a Bucknell University graduate.

Metro Bank has hired Marc Alaimo as manager of its Manheim Pike store and promoted Patrick Snyder to Reading region retail market manager.

Alaimo, of Lancaster, has more than 12 years of banking experience, most recently as a manager for Mid Penn Bank. He attended Lock Haven University.

Snyder, of Lancaster, has 33 years of banking experience, joining Metro Bank five years ago. Most recently he was Lititz Pike store manager.

CPA Associates International has named Donald F. Johnson Jr. to its North American board of directors. Johnson is managing partner of Trout, Ebersole & Groff, where he has worked for 31 years.

The Conservation Foundation of Lancaster County has named Jeffrey Shue to its board of directors. Shue is a senior client representative for C.S. Davidson.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Pennsylvania has appointed Sharon Greiner vice president of its board of directors.

Greiner, of Lititz, had a 20-year career in the telecommunications industry, including 10 years as senior telecommunications analyst for The Hershey Co.

The York law firm of Stock and Leader has promoted Lancaster County native Brooke Erin Doman Say to partner.

Say, of York, joined the firm in 2005 as an associate. She focuses her practice on special education, employment and civil rights.

She is a graduate of Lancaster Christian High School, Messiah College and Penn State University's Dickinson School of Law.

Donegal Insurance Group has announced five management appointments.

Robert Smith Sr. has been promoted to vice president of commercial lines underwriting.

Smith, of Elizabethtown, is a 28-year employee, most recently serving as assistant vice president. He attended Shippensburg University.

Jerry Demastus has been promoted to vice president and assistant treasurer.

Demastus, of Mount Joy, was hired in 2005. He most recently was assistant treasurer. He is an Eastern Mennonite University graduate.

Joshua Hoffman has been promoted to assistant vice president and assistant controller.

Hoffman, of Mechanicsburg, was hired in 2010, becoming a senior accountant. He has a bachelor's degree from Shippensburg University and an MBA degree from the University of Maryland.

David Bawel has been hired as assistant vice president for internal audit.

Bawel, of Ephrata, most recently was an associate at Griffin Financial Group. He is a Susquehanna University graduate.

Kerri Marinaro has been promoted to internal audit supervisor.

Marinaro, of Mount Joy, joined Donegal in 2010 as an internal auditor. She is a Shippensburg University graduate.

Trout, Ebersole & Groff has named Carol E. Roland a partner.

Roland, of Lancaster, joined the firm in 2006, most recently serving as audit and attest department manager.

She holds bachelor's and MBA degrees from Penn State University.

Millersville University has hired Brian Hazlett as director of admissions, effective Feb. 4.

Hazlett, of York, previously was assistant vice president and director of university admissions at Towson University.

He holds a bachelor's degree from St. Francis University and a master's degree from Binghamton University.

BCF Group has hired Cindy Marshall as a personal risk manager in its personal lines division.

Marshall, of Lititz, previously was a customer service agent for Murray-Securus. She is a Lebanon Valley College graduate.
