Villanova upsets No. 3 Syracuse, 75-71

Ryan Arcidiacono hit the tying 3-pointer with 2.2 seconds left in regulation, and James Bell hit consecutive 3s in overtime to send Villanova to its second win over a Top 5 team this week, beating No. 3 Syracuse Saturday, 75-71.
The Wildcats defeated No. 5 Louisville 73-64 on Tuesday and became the first unranked team to beat two Top 5 teams in the same season since Florida State in 2011-12, according to STATS LLC.
Arcidiacono let go a leaner from just beyond the 3-point line to tie the game at 61, force overtime and send the crowd into a frenzy.
With the Orange (18-2, 6-1 Big East) down two points in overtime, Brandon Triche made one free throw with 46.5 seconds left.
Bell followed with a layup to for a 71-68 lead and the Wildcats (13-7, 4-3) held on from the free throw line.
Darrun Hilliard scored 25 points and Yarou had 14 points and 16 rebounds for the Wildcats.
Triche led the Orange with 23 points and Carter-Williams scored 17 as the Orange had an eight-game winning streak snapped.
Duke 84, Maryland 64: Freshman Rasheed Sulaimon scored a season-high 25 points and Duke bounced back from one of its worst losses under Mike Krzyzewski by routing Maryland (15-5, 3-4).
Mason Plumlee added 19 points and Seth Curry had 13 for the Blue Devils (17-2, 4-2 Atlantic Coast Conference).
Dez Wells and Charles Mitchell both had 13 points for the Terrapins , who have lost four of six.
Kansas 67, Oklahoma 54: Ben McLemore scored 18 points and Jeff Withey added 13 points and nine rebounds as No. 3 Kansas extended its nation-leading winning streak to 17 games.
Withey had four blocks and three steals, and Travis Releford added 10 points for the Jayhawks (18-1, 6-0 Big 12). Romero Osby and Amath M'Baye scored 12 points each to lead the Sooners (13-5, 4-2).
Georgetown 53, Louisville 51: Otto Porter had 17 points and grabbed the game's decisive rebound with 1.4 seconds to play as Georgetown handed No. 5 Louisville its third straight loss.
Porter finished with 12 rebounds for the Hoyas (14-4, 4-3 Big East). Russ Smith led the Cardinals (16-4, 4-3).
Iowa State 73, Kansas State 67: Will Clyburn had 24 points and 10 rebounds and Iowa State (14-5, 4-2 Big 12) handed No. 11 Kansas State (15-4, 4-2) its second straight loss. Will Spradlin had 15 points and Rodney McGruder scored 13 to lead the Wildcats.
Wisconsin 45, Minnesota 44: Traevon Jackson just beat the shot clock and hit a 15-foot jumper from the right side with 4 seconds left as Wisconsin (14-6, 5-2) handed No. 12 Minnesota (15-5, 3-4 Big Ten) its fourth straight loss. Andre Hollins had 20 points for Minnesota.
Ohio State 65, Penn State 51: Sam Thompson scored 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting for No. 14 Ohio State (15-4, 5-2 Big Ten).
Ohio State gradually asserted control in the second half, though scrappy Penn State (8-12, 0-8) tried to hang around with defense and got within 10 points with 2:41 remaining.
Jermaine Marshall had 16 points for the Nittany Lions, who have lost 18 straight to the Buckeyes.
San Diego State 55, New Mexico 34: JJ O'Brien had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Jamaal Franklin added 10 points for San Diego State.
The Aztecs (16-4, 4-2 Mountain West Conference) dealt the No. 15 Lobos (17-3, 4-1) their first conference loss and snapped their four-game winning streak. Kendall Williams had 14 points for the Lobos.
Notre Dame 73, South Florida 65: Jerian Grant scored 18 points and Tom Knight had 17 for No. 24 Notre Dame.
Eric Atkins added 13 points and Pat Connaughton contributed 12 for Notre Dame (16-4, 4-3 Big East).
Zach LeDay had 17 points and Anthony Collins added 12 for South Florida (10-9, 1-6).
Butler 83, Temple 71: Rotnei Clarke cored 24 points, knocked down three 3-pointers, made 13 of 14 free throws, dished out a career-high nine assists and led the No. 9 Bulldogs (16-3, 4-1) to a victory over Temple.
The Owls (13-6, 2-3 Atlantic 10) were led by Khalif Wyatt, who scored 16 of his 22 points in the first half and had with six assists. Scootie Randall had 13 points and four rebounds, and Anthony Lee had 12 points and seven rebounds.
Oregon 81, Washington 76: E.J. Singler had 18 points, Arsalan Kazemi added 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Carlos Emory also scored 11 for No. 16 Oregon (18-2, 7-0 Pac-12) over the Huskies (12-8, 4-3), who were paced by Andrew Andrews' 15 points.
Florida 82, Mississippi State 47: Kenny Boynton and Erik Murphy both scored 18 points and the 8th-ranked Gators (16-2, 6-0 Southeastern Conference) poured in a season-high 14 3-pointers in an easy win over Mississippi State.
Fred Thomas led Mississippi State (7-11, 2-4) with 19 points.
Arizona 74, USC 50: Nick Johnson scored 14, Solomon Hill 13 points, Brandon Ashley 11 and Kaleb Tarczewski 10 for the Wildcats (17-2, 5-2 Pac-12)
The Trojans (8-13, 3-5) were led by . Jio Fontan's nine points.
Wichita State 73, Bradley 39: Nick Wiggins scored 12 points and fueled a 16-0 run in the second half with three 3-pointers as No. 20 Wichita State completed a regular-season sweep of Bradley.
Jake White added 11 points for the Shockers (19-2, 8-1 Missouri Valley Conference. Walt Lemon Jr. led Bradley (12-9, 4-5) with 14 points.
Missouri 81, Vanderbilt 59: Rod Odom matched a career high with 17 points and Kedren Johnson added 11 for No. 22 Missouri (15-4, 4-2) over Vanderbilt. Jabari Brown scored 21 points and Alex Oriakhi tied a career high with 18 for Vanderbilt (8-10, 2-4 Southeastern Conference).
N.C. State 91, North Carolina 83: Lorenzo Brown had 20 points and 11 assists to help No. 18 North Carolina State beat North Carolina, ending a 13-game losing streak in the long rivalry.
Freshman T.J. Warren added 19 points for the Wolfpack (16-4, 5-2 Atlantic Coast Conference), who beat the Tar Heels for the first time in nearly six years.
P.J. Hairston scored 19 points to lead the Tar Heels (13-6, 3-3).

Drexel 68, Georgia State 57: Damion Lee scored 20 points and Drexel held Georgia State without a basket for nearly 14 minutes in a Colonial Athletic Association victory.
Lee hit four 3-pointers, including two in the second half that helped the Dragons (8-11, 4-3) extend their lead to 12 points over the Panthers (10-12, 5-4).
Bucknell 65, Holy Cross 58: Joe Willman and Bryson Johnson each scored 16 points to lead Bucknell (17-4, 4-1 Patriot League) past Holy Cross (10-10, 2-3).
Pittsburgh 93, DePaul 55: Trey Zeigler scored a season-high 18 points and the Panthers (17-4, 5-3 Big East) crushed DePaul (10-9, 1-5) for their fourth straight victory.
McCaskey standout Lamar Patterson added 15 points and Steven Adams added nine points and a season-high 14 rebounds for Pitt. The Panthers moved into third in the muddled Big East after dominating the reeling Blue Demons.
Saint Joseph's 59, Xavier 49: Langston Galloway, Carl Jones and Halil Kanacevic each posted 15 points to help Saint Joseph's (11-7, 2-3) rally and beat Xavier in Atlantic 10 Conference play.
