CRIMINAL MISCHIEF DRUGS/PARAPHERNALIA DUI FOUND ROBBERY SIMPLE ASSAULT THEFT THEFT CHARGES VANDALISM
LITITZ: Loose change and candy and hotdogs valued at $120 were stolen from the locked office and snack bar of Lititz Springs Pool overnight Tuesday.
EAST HEMPFIELD TWP.: The front door of a home in the 300 block of Colonial Crest Drive was damaged overnight June 7. Loss $200. Cement, bricks, a porch post and siding were damaged at a home in the 900 block of Church Street overnight June 4.
LANCASTER: Edward Lewis Smith Jr., 32, of the first block of South Franklin Street, was stopped by a Pennsylvania Probation and Parole officer in the 500 block of Woodward Street on Tuesday. He was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Probation will issue a detainer on him.
LANCASTER: Luis Gilberto Cruz, 24, of Garden Court Apartments, and Levar Hammond, 29, of the first block of Parkside Avenue, were charged with possession of heroin Wednesday in the 500 block of South Shippen Street. Cruz discarded 23 bags of heroin when officers approached. Hammond was found to have four bags of heroin.
MANHEIM TWP.: Angel A. Nash, 19, of North Lime Street, was charged with having a smoking device in Stauffer Park after closing time May 8.
LANCASTER: Juan Calixto, 52, of the 500 block of St. Joseph Street, was arrested Sunday in the 600 block of College Avenue.
CAERNARVON TWP.: A black suitcase containing women's clothing was found Monday along Edwards Road, near the township line. Police ask anyone with information to call 299-7660. LANCASTER: Two males stole a white React bike from two boys near East James and North Lime streets on Wednesday afternoon, police said. One of the robbers punched one of the boys several times while the other robber displayed a knife. The robbers fled east from North Lime Street.
LANCASTER: Rene R. Maldonado, 27, of the 100 block of West Main Street, New Holland, reportedly punched his girlfriend several times in the head and sprayed pepper spray on her during an argument Wednesday in the 500 block of South Shippen Street. He fled before police arrived and will be charged, police said.
EAST LAMPETER TWP.: Three unlocked vehicles were entered overnight Wednesday in the 300 block of Newport Road. Taken was a Garman GPS, sunglasses and a small amount of cash. Value not reported.
EPHRATA: An unsecured BMX-style bicycle was stolen from a front porch in the 500 block of East Main Street overnight Wednesday.
LANCASTER: A male grabbed cash that had been left as a tip on an outside table at Yorgos Restaurant & Lounge, 66 N. Queen St., on Wednesday, police said. A witness chased the thief north on North Prince Street on foot, but eventually lost sight of him. Surveillance video shows the thief wore a white tanktop and black shorts.
LANCASTER: A black and white Trek mountain bike was stolen Tuesday in the 500 block of North Charlotte Street.
LANCASTER: A stereo was stolen from an unlocked car in the 900 block of Wheatland Avenue Tuesday.
LANCASTER: A window of a vehicle on the second level of a parking garage at 111 N. Prince St. was shattered Tuesday and an iPhone, credit cards, checkbook and purse were stolen from under the driver's seat. Damage is $200.
LANCASTER: Twenty gallons of gas were taken from a work trailer in the 1000 block of Dillerville Road Tuesday.
LANCASTER: An iPhone left on a porch was stolen in the 500 block of West King Street Tuesday.
PROVIDENCE TWP.: A gold Irish wedding band with emeralds in the crown, a gold band with four diamonds, a one-half carat diamond solitaire with gold band, a 24-inch gold rope chain, a herringbone 20-inch gold chain and a 20-inch gold chain were taken from a home in the first block of Hopkins Mill Road between May 22 and May 28. Some or all of the items may have been sold on Craigslist. Loss is $2,873.
LANCASTER: Cassandra Tirado, 23, of Lebanon, was charged with theft at a store at Park City Center Wednesday.
EAST LAMPETER TWP.: Tanzania Melissa Johns, 21, Florence Dee McClendon, 49, and Robert Charles Lowden, 20, all of Lancaster, were charged with taking $176.59 worth of clothing, jewelry and sunglasses Wednesday at Walmart, 2034 Lincoln Highway East.
EPHRATA: A car window was damaged, apparently by a BB, Thursday in the 1000 block of Henn Avenue.
