Barry Baker, age 64, of Columbia, died peacefully, Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Robert A., Sr. and Anna Mae Keller Baker. Barry participated in activities at Ephrata Area Rehabilitation Services and Concepts of Lancaster. He was a very observant person and a jokester, who enjoyed spending time with people. Barry enjoyed his coffee, Elvis Presley music, and singing. He could often be heard singing "Hound Dog"
or "You Are My Sunshine." Barry loved to take walks and rides in nature, and he had a special fondness for animals. He will be deeply missed. Barry is survived by his brothers: Edward T. husband of Deborah Baker of Columbia and Robert A. Baker, Jr. of Manheim. He is also survived by his Aunt Doris Bisking of Halifax, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service for Barry will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut Street, Columbia, at 11 a.m. (viewing 10-11 a.m.) with Pastor Angela Misal officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens.
