Faith United Church of Christ, 1204 Wabank Road, will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. May 11. The cost is $6 for adults and children ages 12 and older and $4 for children ages 5 to 11. Children ages 4 and under eat free.

Faith United Methodist Church, 1290 Fruitville Pike, will host its annual Faith Day chicken barbecue, used-book sale and community yard sale event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 11. Barbecue chicken, hot dogs and soft pretzels will be sold from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or while supplies last. Sides and desserts also will be available for purchase.
There will be free children's games promoting the church's 2013 Everywhere Fun Fair Vacation Bible School, which will be held in August. Barbecue tickets are available for presale chicken orders, and outdoor yard sale spaces can be reserved through Friday by calling Tom Chapman at 203-8662.
