Prison death ruled suicide

An inmate is dead after hanging himself Saturday at Lancaster County Prison.
The man was taken to Lancaster General Hospital where he was on life-support for a period of time before being declared brain dead, according to Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni.
The coroner declined to identify the man Monday night because he wasn't certain that relatives had been notified of his death.
Diamantoni said he was in his 20s.
An autopsy was completed Monday morning and the death ruled a suicide, the coroner said.
Prison officials weren't available for comment Monday night.
