Police seek suspect in Saturday shooting

Lancaster city police are searching for a suspect after a shooting and robbery at a business Saturday night.
Detective James Fatta said a man entered The Image clothing store, 713 Union St., just before 8 p.m. as the owner and an employee were counting money and preparing to close the business for the night.
The suspect fired at least one shot, injuring both men.
Fatta said the 29-year-old owner was shot in the leg, but he declined to say where the 27-year-old employee was struck.
One of the victims was treated and then released from an area hospital, Fatta said, while the other was kept overnight for observation.
Police said the suspect got away with an undetermined amount of cash.
Fatta said no bullet casings were found at the scene. He said police processed the area for other evidence, including DNA.
He said all indications are that the store was targeted, and he said he doesn't believe there's a danger to the public.
Authorities don't believe Saturday's robbery and shooting is related to the shooting last week of the owner of Karved Creations Barber Shop at 401 E. King St. During that incident, a lone gunman entered the store shortly before 9 p.m., shot the owner in the legs and fled. There was no robbery attempt.
