Hawkeyes end Virginia home streak

Roy Devyn Marble scored 24 points and Iowa ended Virginia's 19-game home winning streak with a 75-64 victory in the NIT quarterfinals Wednesday night, earning the Hawkeyes a trip to Madison Square Garden.
Marble's lone 3-pointer in five tries came with 13:02 to play and gave Iowa (24-12) a 42-41 lead. It also sparked a 19-5 run that featured six points inside from Adam Woodbury and 3-pointers by Josh Oglesby and Zach McCabe.
Justin Anderson hit five 3-pointers, scored a career-high 24 points and had five blocks and three steals to lead Virginia (23-12).
BYU 79, Southern Miss 62: Tyler Haws scored 25 points, Brock Zylstra added 23 as BYU (24-11) went on an 11-0 run early in the first half and never trailed again.
Daveon Boardingham led the Golden Eagles (27-10) with 18 points.
Baylor 79, Providence 68: Pierre Jackson scored 20 points to go with 7 rebounds and 13 assists, fronting the Bears (21-14), while Cory Jefferson scored a game-high 26 points.
Bryce Cotton (23) and Vincent Council (21) led the Friars (19-15).
