LNP hires senior VP to manage holdings
Lancaster Newspapers has hired Shane D. Zimmerman as senior vice president, effective April 8.
Zimmerman will assist the Steinman family, which owns Lancaster Newspapers, in management of its business holdings, financial affairs and philanthropic endeavors.
"We're very fortunate to be able to get him," said Beverly R. Steinman, chairman of Lancaster Newspapers. "He's going to be very valuable."
Zimmerman, of Lancaster, is Central Pennsylvania and Northeast Pennsylvania banking director for PNC Wealth Management. He has worked for PNC since 1996.
"I've spent my entire career serving wealthy families and business owners," Zimmerman said.
"This is an opportunity for me to bring that skill set to one family -- a family that's been a very important part of the Lancaster community," he added.
Before joining PNC, Zimmerman worked for Meridian Bank. He is a graduate of Elizabethtown College.
