Paul A. Murphy
Paul A. Murphy, 76, of Mount Joy, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lisle, NY, he was the son of the late Mabel and Gilbert Murphy. Paul was the husband of J. Mildred Murphy with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage this past November 19th. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was employed by NCR for over 30 years, retiring as a Foreman in the printing department. Surviving in addition to his wife, Mildred, are three children, Gene Murphy of Mount Joy, Paul Murphy of West Grove, and Susan Keller wife of Dennis of Mount Joy. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a brother, Joe A. Leonard, of Slaterville Springs, NY.He was preceded in death by a son, Leonard Murphy, who died in 1991.Family and friends will be received at the Sheetz Funeral Home, 16 East Main Street, Mount Joy 17552 from 10 A.M.-11 A.M. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 with sharing of memories at 11 A.M. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Service will be held the same day at 4 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses, 861 Milton Grove Road, Mount Joy 17552 where Paul was a ministerial servant.
