Robert Y. Grosh, Jr., 66, of Hummelstown, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital.Born in Lancaster on June 5, 1946, he was the son of the late Robert Y. Grosh, Sr. and Kathryn L. Lehman Grosh of Palmyra.Bob was the former ­President of High Food ­Services and the former Vice President of Service America. He was a graduate of Elizabethtown High School ('64) and Elizabethtown College ('68). Bob was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hershey. He was a former member of the ­Hershey Country Club and a member of the Hunters & Anglers Association Inc., Middletown. Bob was a member of the American Legion Post 265 and the VFW Post 1687, both of Hummelstown, and the VFW Post 3502, Hershey.

He also enjoyed skiing, golf, and tennis.In addition to his mother, Bob is survived by his wife, Sandra L. Shay Grosh; three daughters, Michelle M. McSorley wife of W. David of Stafford, VA, Stacy L. Angel wife of Usbaldo of Arlington, VA, and Penny Jo Yescavage wife of Edward of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, W. David McSorley IV, Theodore G. Angel, and Grace M. Angel; and a brother, David K. Grosh husband of Kiffanny of Marietta.He was preceded in death by his father and an infant brother, Larry Grosh. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 17, 2013, at 2 PM in the First Church of God, 144 South Market Street, Elizabethtown, with The Rev. Mark H. Yarger officiating.

A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown.Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, PA, is handling the arrangements.
