·LECTURE SERIES: Quest for Learning will hold its spring lecture series on Thursday mornings from March 21 to May 2 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 31 S. Duke St.

Topics available at the 9:40 sessions are "Gettysburg after 150 Years," "Mathematics You Never Learned in School," "Short Story Discussion Group" and "Your Kitchen: Flavorings, Foods, Beverages and Spices."

Topics at 11 are "How I Think the World Works," "Ideas Transforming Health Care for Aging Boomers and the Elderly," "The Soldiers and Sailors Monument -- Epicenter of Lancaster City Architecture" and "The Baltic States -- Aren't They Somewhere in Europe?"

Participants can select a lecture from both time periods. Cost is $15, which includes a social time between the lectures with refreshments.

·4-H CLUB: The Sequoia Riders 4-H Club will hold its reorganizational meeting Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Stevens Hill Church of the Brethren, 3131 Turnpike Road, Elizabethtown.

Parents are encouraged to attend the meeting with their children. Members should bring 2013 calendar, pen/pencil and notebook, plus $40 club enrollment membership fee.

4-H Horse clubs provide education opportunities but do not provide horses or riding lessons. The club is open to youths between 8 and 18 by Jan. 1.

·POSTCARD CLUB: The Lancaster County Postcard Club will meet Monday at the Farm & Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road.

The program will be a "Member's Market." The public is invited to buy only; members will start to sell and trade postcards/paper goods beginning at 5:30 p.m. A brief business meeting is planned at 7.

The exhibit theme (Board) for this month is "Ships on Postcards."

·VISITATION DAY: West Fallowfield Christian School, Atglen, will hold a "Little Falcons Preschool Visitation Day" for registered and prospective students and their families Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Students and their parents will have the opportunity to meet the teacher and experience a "typical day" in the preschool.

The Little Falcons Preschool program offers a class two days a week for 3-year-olds and classes three or five days a week for 4-year-olds. The classes meet from 9 to 11:45 a.m.

West Fallowfield Christian School serves students in the Solanco, Pequea Valley, Octorara, Avon Grove, Coatesville, Oxford and Unionville/Chadds Ford area school districts.

·PHOTO COMPETITION: The Lancaster Camera Club will host an open photo competition Wednesday in the Fieldcrest Room at Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike.

Registration starts at 6:30 p.m.

The theme is "Best Shot," and the competition is open to the public.

There is an entrance fee of $5 per photo and a limit of two photos can be entered. All photos must be mounted on a white or black mount.

There will be cash prizes paid out for first, second and third place.

·WOMEN'S CLUB: The Millersville Woman's Club will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 222 N. George St.

The program will be a culinary program presented by the Mount Joy Campus of the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center.
