A Lancaster man was seriously injured in a one-car crash on Route 501 in Warwick Township early Friday, police said.
Eric L. Wittensoldner, 33, of the 1000 block of Marshall Avenue, was driving a Chevrolet Camaro north on Lititz Pike, between Peters and West Millport roads, at 1:13 a.m., Northern Lancaster County Regional police reported.
He crossed over the southbound lanes and struck a large metal sign support standard.
Wittensoldner, the only occupant of the vehicle, suffered serious injuries, police said.
He was extricated by fire and rescue teams and transported to the Lancaster General Hospital.

A man and three horses were injured in a one-vehicle wreck that closed Route 322 in Elizabeth Township Friday morning.
Boyd L. Hudson, 71, of Marcus Hook, at 5:40 a.m. was driving a pickup truck pulling a horse trailer on Route 322, west of Hershey Road, state police said.
He was going around a curve and saw a tractor-trailer tractor approaching.
Hudson moved over to give the truck more room and went off the road onto the shoulder, police said. The soft ground of the shoulder pulled the pickup truck and trailer off the road and Hudson struck two utility poles.
A transformer on one of the poles ended up on top of the trailer, said Brickerville Fire Company Deputy Chief Nevin May.
Hudson suffered minor injury, but did not require medical transport, police said. All three horses in the trailer were injured.
Route 322 was closed between Route 501 and East Brubaker Valley Road because of downed wires.
Police charged Hudson with misusing a traffic lane.
