Get2College event planned March 9
Eight local colleges have joined efforts to host a Get2College event to assist families with the college application process and discuss the different types of financial aid available.
The event will be held March 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Main Building at HACC Lancaster Campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike. Snow date is March 16.
Admission representatives from HACC, Consolidated School of Business, Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster Bible College, Millersville University, Central Penn College, Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and Penn State-York will be on hand to answer questions and help complete applications for financial aid.
A session explaining the financial aid process will be at 9:30 a.m. and again at noon.
Volunteers will provide free tax preparation. Registration is required for tax preparation. Call 291-5462 to register.
Additionally, Spanish and Vietnamese translators will be available.
