Sharon L. Drescher
Sharon L. Drescher, 64, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Richard L. Bowles, Sr. She was the companion of Andrew F. Brandt, Elizabethtown for over 28 years.Sharon had been employed at the former AMP, Inc. She was a member of the American Lung Association and ORCA (Organization for Responsible Care of Animals) where she answered emergency calls. Sharon loved animals and her grandchildren.In addition to her companion Andrew, she is survived by a son: Charles E. Drescher (Tracy), Mount Joy; a daughter Angela L. "Sis" Drescher (Barry Caplinger), Marietta; two grandchildren: Justin and Nicole; two brothers: Richard L. Bowles, Jr. (Sue), Mount Joy and Michael E. Bowles (Shelly), Elizabethtown; a sister: Donna M. Markley (Dave), Maytown and her best friend, Chris Gebhart.A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown at 2:00 PM. There will be no viewing. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
