John J. "Jack" Sullivan, 96, of Coatesville died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital.He was the husband of Mary Logue Sullivan with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Towerville, he was the son of the late Lawrence A. and Blanche Boyer Sullivan.He was a 1934 graduate of Coatesville High School and served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army Air Corps in the India China Burma Theater from 1942-1945.Jack owned The Little Chef in Coatesville for 27 years.He was a member of St. Cecilia Church, Coatesville.Jack was a member of the East Fallowfield Historical Society and the Cochranville Grange. He was also a life member of West End Fire Company. He enjoyed playing golf and making dollhouses. In addition to his wife Mary, Jack is survived by his four daughters: Eileen Sullivan Marx and her husband Ken of New York City; Janet Sullivan of Lansdowne; Lois Hinderling and her husband Ray of Coatesville; and Dorothy Love and her husband Brian of Ephrata. He was predeceased by his son, John J. Sullivan, Jr. He is also survived by his four grandsons: Harry Marx (Courtney), Dan Marx, Kevin Love (Colgan), and Andrew Love; one brother, Paul Sullivan of Grover, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.Jack was predeceased by his two sisters, Dot and Nan, and his three brothers, Robert, Donald, and Lawrence.Jack?s funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 404 Charles Street, Coatesville, where family and friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Family and friends may also call Friday, February 15, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Wentz Funeral Home, 342 E. Chestnut St., Coatesville, 610-384-0318.
