Betty M. Schlouch
Betty M. Schlouch, 81, of Maple Grove Road, Narvon, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Reading Hospital due to medical reasons.Born in Adamstown, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Eckenroth) Frankhouser. Her husband, Alvin L. Schlouch, Sr. died Oct. 24, 1997.Betty worked as a domestic housekeeper and was a member of the Alleghenyville United Church of Christ. She was also a life member of the Bowmansville Fire Company and the Brecknock (Berks Co.) Fire Company.Surviving are two sons, Alvin L. "Butch" Schlouch, Jr. of Shillington, and Ray M., married to Patricia (Dillon) Schlouch of Mohnton; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and two brothers, John, married to Carol (Eager) Frankhouser of Reinholds, and Peter Paul Frankhouser of Adamstown.Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 18 at 2 pm at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill with the Reverend Lance Moyer officiating. Interment will be in the Alleghenyville Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday 6-8 pm and on Monday 1-2 pm.
