WASHINGTON BORO: Star Wars memorabilia was among about 300 collectible items taken overnight Jan. 19 from a home that was forcibly entered in the 2200 block of River Road. Loss was $4,000.
EAST COCALICO TWP.: Mason J. Becker, 18, of Audubon Circle, was charged Feb. 7 with burglary and theft after he admitted to entering a home on Audubon Circle and removing items valued at approximately $1,700.
DENVER: Charges are pending against David Schubert, 37, of Denver, after a traffic violation Monday in the 100 block of Monroe Street. Police said Schubert was taken into custody and transported to Ephrata Community Hospital where he refused a blood test. A detainer was placed on Schubert by his state parole officer. He was taken to Lancaster County Prison on the detainer.
DENVER: Charges are pending against Alexis L. Hasson, 21, of Boyertown, after a traffic stop Saturday in the 300 block of Main Street.
DENVER: Charges are pending against Dane A. Crowther, 46, of Ephrata, after a traffic stop Friday at Weaver Road and South Second Street.
EAST COCALICO TWP.: Charges are pending against Kevin Zimmerman, 30, of Terre Hill, after he failed to negotiate a curve in the 100 block of East Church Street Feb. 6 and struck a tree. Zimmerman and a passenger were injured and taken to Reading Hospital..
ELIZABETHTOWN: David A. Kohl, 23, of Denver, was charged as the result of a traffic stop Jan. 26 at Mechanics Alley and Cherry Alley.
MANOR TWP.: Michael Plaisted, 48, of Foxwood Drive, Columbia, has been charged as the result of an incident Jan. 20 in the 400 block of Hawthorne Drive.
MANOR TWP.: Lance Brubaker, 48, of Bender Mill Road, was charged as the result of a one-vehicle crash Jan. 9 in the 400 block of Old Blue Rock Road.
MANHEIM: Kelly Matthews, 46, of 641 Warehouse Road, Manheim, was charged as the result of a traffic stop Jan. 6 at Fuller Drive and Penn Street.
EARL TWP.: Kathleen Skinner, 43, of Elm Circle, New Holland, was charged with forgery and theft by deception after she allegedly forged the name of a former employee on a check which she deposited into her business account Feb. 28, 2011. The employee only recently became aware that the check existed and reported the incident to police. Skinner was arraigned by District Judge Rodney Hartman and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
RAPHO TWP.: James C. Blymier, 56, of 13 Beatty's Toll Gate Road, Marietta, was charged Feb. 6 with harassment and stalking after allegedly following and verbally harassing a victim on several occasions.
MANOR TWP.: Samena Cooper, 35, of Stonemill Road, was charged with resisting arrest and defiant trespassing after an incident Feb. 1 at Denny's, 2204 Columbia Ave. Cooper was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
STRASBURG TWP.: State police said two boxes of copper tubing were taken just before 1 p.m. Tuesday from Zimmerman's Hardware, 306 Hartman Bridge Road. Loss is $394.80.
MILLERSVILLE: Two laptops were taken overnight Saturday from a home on North Prince Street. Police said a piece of cardboard, taped over a broken door glass, had been pushed in to gain entry. Loss was $3,000.
EAST COCALICO TWP.: Power equipment -- including a table saw, drill and two generators -- valued at $3,400 was reported stolen Feb. 5 from a construction site in the 100 block of Royal Horse Way.
EAST LAMPETER TWP.: Bryan Lee Beaver, 32, and Jessica Lynn Lefever, 33, both of Lancaster, were charged Monday at Walmart, 2034 Lincoln Highway East, when they allegedly were observed concealing 13 video games valued at $249.54 in a handbag and under clothing and then exiting the store.
EAST LAMPETER TWP.: Jose Efrain Calorzi, 18, Luis Gabriel Torres-Torres, 18, and a 15-year-old boy, all of Lancaster, were charged Monday at Walmart, 2034 Lincoln Highway East, after they allegedly were observed removing electronic items from packaging and concealing them. Police said the three also consumed candy inside the store before exiting. Amount of loss was not disclosed.
MILLERSVILLE: Two truck tires were slashed overnight Sunday on East Charlotte Street.
LITITZ: A resident in the 300 block of East Main Street reported Monday the windshield on his Jeep had been smashed.
LITITZ: A woman reported Feb. 8 that her bank account was illegally accessed and $1,400 was taken out.
CONESTOGA TWP.: Kelly Shoff, 43, and Kitayne Tharp, 22, both of the 4000 block of Main Street, Conestoga, had been charged with simple assault and criminal mischief in August.
All of the charges were withdrawn or dismissed.
