TO THE EDITORS:

Excuse me, but am I understanding correctly when I read that the East Lampeter citizens actually voted for guns to be allowed in their parks?

Why? Are the parks dangerous? If so, then why aren't they patrolled by their local police force?

I pity the poor children because now they don't have a safe place to play or have picnics. They might be victims of crossfire between the people legally carrying guns and whatever dangerous forces lurk in the parks

Where does the insanity end?
