FOOD BITS
n A Bpost (Belgian post) worker uses a magnifier to check the quality of newly printed chocolate stamps at the Bpost stamp press in Mechelen, Belgium, on Wednesday, Feb. 6. Bpost began production of chocolate postage stamps. When you lick the gum on the back of the stamp, you can taste chocolate flavor and the stamps also have a chocolate smell, which is blended in with the varnish in the form of essential cacao oils. It's not the first time distinctive-smelling postage stamps have been issued, but for the first time smell has been combined with flavor. The five postage stamps depict chocolate in various forms: sprinkles, pralines, chocolate spread, pieces of raw chocolate and bars.
