Mildred M. Kreider, 94, of 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Garden Spot Village where she had resided since 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Kreider, in 1992.Born in Witmer, she was the daughter of the late Grant A. and Susannah (Martin) Smith.She and Charles had owned and operated the Terre Hill Restaurant in the 1970?s.A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, she liked to play cards, especially pinochle, and enjoyed doing needlework and reading.Surviving are four children: Rosene K. widow of Edward N. Steffy, Lititz; Gloria J. married to Donald J. Hollinger, New Holland; Clyde J. Kreider, New Holland; and Clair R. married to Debra (Schnader) Kreider, Bowmansville; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn married to H. Jacob Hoober, Leola.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Houck, and three brothers: Robert, Grant, and W. Merle Smith.Her funeral will be held on Monday, Feb. 18, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 221 E. Main St., New Holland with Pastor David Klepper officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 10- 11 a.m. Kindly omit flowers.
