I heartily agree with Gene Blaettler's letter, Feb. 7. We are unfairly charged for services by Comcast that we do not want, do not need and do not watch.

It has been a thorn in my side for a long time that I must pay for sports channels that I never watch. They amount to perhaps half my Comcast bill.

Ten years ago, I did an informal survey in my small development of 22 residents occupied by 46 adults plus their children. Twenty-seven adults watch no sports, 19 do. There must be some adjustment to fees charged.

Why subsidize sports channels when they are no use to you? Fair is fair, but now Comcast is carrying on.
