Basketball

Eastern Mennonite junior Steph Rheinheimer (Lancaster Mennonite) was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Week after averaging 15.5 points, two rebounds and two assists in wins over Randolph-Macon and Guilford. She is third in the ODAC in 3-pointers, sixth in 3-point field goal percentage and first in assists-to-turnovers ratio.

Swimming

Scranton junior John Hughes (Lancaster Catholic) set three school records while participating in the Landmark Conference swimming championships this past weekend. Hughes broke his own school record in the 100-yard breaststroke (59.06) while placing second. He swam the breaststroke leg on the record-setting 200 medley relay (1:36.38) which finished second and the 400 medley relay (3:33.30) which finished third. Hughes also placed 11th in the 50 freestyle (22.34) and fourth in the 200 breaststroke (2:10.80.).
