FerrarFrancis Theodore Ferrar, 85, of the Susquehanna Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Columbia, PA, passed away February 8, 2013, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Norristown, a son of the late Albert and Minnie Bria Ferrar. Francis proudly served in the Navy during WWII on an aircraft carrier and was hit by a Kamakazi pilot. He also served during the Korean War. His brother, Anthony, was a B29 bomber pilot in WWII as well. Francis was an independent licensed insurance agent for many years.Surviving is a daughter, Tamara (Hugh) McClure, Ashburn, VA; one grandson, Christopher McClure; a brother, Anthony Ferrar, Hershey. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Graveside Service remembering Francis' life 2:30 P.M. Friday, February 15, 2013, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
