Hazel M. Felty

Hazel M. Felty, 92, of 183 Mt. Hope School Road, Willow Street, PA, died on Monday at Lancashire Hall. She was the wife of the late Dale A. Felty who preceded her in death in 2003. Born in Columbia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Maurer Moore. She attended the Ironville United Methodist Church. Hazel enjoyed the sport of Bowling. She loved listening to Christian Music and Hymns and listening to her husband play the Organ. She also loved playing the Organ herself. In her earlier years, she enjoyed making different crafts and was very interested in her Grandsons' activities and she enjoyed camping and traveling. Surviving is a Son: Preston S. Felty of Willow St., PA; Daughters: Jean wife of John Hersh of Christiana, PA, Jackie Sangrey of Ephrata, PA and Carol wife of Gail Sensenig of New Holland, PA; 4 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren; and a Sister: Violet Banner of Columbia, PA. She was predeceased by a Brother: Jack Moore. Funeral Services for Hazel will be held from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut St., Columbia, PA on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Charles A. Deutsch officiating. Interment will follow in Silver Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
