Human life trumps eagles

TO THE EDITORS:

Satan is blinding people's minds to the truth.

I read in the newspaper where a man shot an eagle thinking it was a hawk that was raiding his free-range chickens. Now he is facing up to two years in jail and a fine of up to $5,000 if he is found guilty, plus he has to pay up to $5,000 to replace this eagle.

The same day, I read the article where women have gotten help for unwanted pregnancy at an abortion clinic. They call this process health services. They say it will improve society in so many ways. This will also help save our tax money.

Open your Bible to Exodus, chapter 20 verse 13, which says, "You shall not murder." However, according to these two articles, Eagles have much greater value in this life than humans.
