EPHRATA: Jeffrey W. Strama Jr., 29, no address given, was arrested Saturday after allegedly assaulting a person and breaking into a home on West Franklin Street. The victim was treated at Lancaster General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
EPHRATA: Ivelisse A. Lopez-Balbuena, 38, of Ephrata, was charged with the theft Saturday of $88.51 worth of items from Kmart, 1127 S. State St.
MANHEIM TWP.: Nathan S. Hash, 20, of Lancaster, and Cierra Ragland, 20, of Middletown, both were cited at Walmart, 2030 Fruitville Pike, on Saturday, after they left the store without paying for $142 worth of DVDs.
PROVIDENCE TWP.: Daniel F. Miller, 22, of New Providence, was injured when his vehicle went off the road and struck a mailbox, electrical box and tree Saturday night in the first block of Echo Valley Drive. Miller was taken to Lancaster General Hospital. State police said he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
EPHRATA: Mark Farlow, 19, of Crawford, Tenn., was charged with trespassing, underage drinking and disorderly conduct after he was allegedly found intoxicated inside Ephrata Christian Fellowship, 400 W. Main St., at 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
EPHRATA TWP.: Someone broke into a house in the 100 block of Fieldcrest Lane Sunday evening and took several items valued at $3,200.
SALISBURY TWP.: Matthew W. King, 19, of Gap, was charged after he was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car at the intersection of routes 41 and 30 at 5:11 a.m. Sunday.
COLERAIN TWP.: Samantha Kilgore, 21, of Airville, was charged after a one-vehicle crash Friday night on Kirkwood Pike. Police said Kilgore was traveling north around midnight when she lost control of her car on the snow-covered road, crossed into the opposing lane and struck an embankment. Her car rolled onto the passenger side. Quarryville Fire Company crews removed Kilgore from the wreckage, and she was treated at Lancaster General Hospital for minor injuries, police said.
FULTON TWP.: Bryan K. Yingst, 45, of Peach Bottom, was arrested at 3:44 a.m. Sunday, after he was found asleep at the wheel of his running car on Route 272 at Route 222. Police said Yingst's car was partially blocking the road.
MANHEIM TWP.: A window was smashed on a vehicle parked in the 600 block of Wyncroft Lane overnight Friday, and a stereo was taken. Loss was $300.
Sometime between Jan. 26 and Feb. 8, someone forced entry into a garage in the 100 block of City Mill Road and stole tools valued at $120.
