The Historic Preservation Trust, based at 123 N. Prince St., is unveiling a redesigned website and making a push for new members.

Lisa Horst, president of the board of directors of the Historic Preservation Trust, said the site at hptrust.org is easier to navigate and provides information about the Trust's efforts to identify and protect historic structures countywide.

The Trust offers five categories of membership: seniors (age 60 or older) or students ($25), individual ($40), family ($100), business ($250) and leadership ($500).

Registration and payment for new members is now available on the website, Horst said.

Directors also have drafted a wish list for increased community involvement in 2013, she said.

The Trust is seeking volunteers to assist with a countywide survey of historic properties and serve on committees to organize special events and help with fundraising; sponsors to underwrite the cost of technology upgrades so paper files can be digitized; advertisers for special events and publications, including the trust's website; and Realtors to post historic properties for sale on the trust's website.
