RETURNED GRADUATIONS
Air Force Capt. Daniel R. Ludwig has returned to the U.S. after being deployed overseas at a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Ludwig is a troop commander assigned to the 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. He has served in the military for 11 years.
The son of Dennis Ludwig of Manheim, he is a 2002 graduate of Manheim Central High School.
n Army Spec. Nicholas T. Connelly has returned to the U.S. after being deployed overseas at a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Connelly, an infantryman assigned to the Fourth Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, has served in the military for two years.
The son of Terry Connelly of Trudi Connelly, both of Lititz, he is a 2010 graduate of Warwick High School.
n Army Spec. William C. Sarris has returned to the U.S. after being deployed overseas at a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sarris, an infantryman and radio telephone operator assigned to the 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, has served in the military for two years.
The son of Tracy Sarris and Bill Sarris, both of Hummelstown, he is a 2010 graduate of Hershey High School.
n Air Force Airman Franklin Sizemore graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.
The son of John Sizemore of Peach Bottom, he is a 2012 graduate of Solanco High School.
n Navy Hospitalman Recruit Amber M. Fleming, daughter of Jessica A. Neidermyer of Ephrata, recently graduated from Aerospace Medicine School at the Naval Medical Institute in Pensacola, Fla.
A 2011 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School, she joined the Navy in May 2012.
n Marine Corps Pvt. Nathaniel G. Fausnight, son of Christine M. Fausnight of Mount Joy, and James B. Fausnight of Beavercreek, Ohio, graduated recently from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.
He is a 2012 graduate of Manheim Central High School.
n Air Force Airman Eric McCardell graduated recently from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.
He then completed tech school at Sheppard AFB in Texas and is currently based at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico.
The son of Mark and Denise McCardell of Peach Bottom, he is a 2012 graduate of Solanco High School.
