DEAN'S LIST HONORS

n Anthony Gaenzle recently received his master's degree in marketing from the University of South Florida.

The son of Frank and Eileen Gaenzle of Lancaster, he is a 1997 graduate of Manheim Township High School and has an associate degree in film from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Fla., and a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida.

n Preston Denlinger has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Grove City College, where he is majoring in business/economics.

He is the son of Gordon and Carolyn Denlinger of Narvon.

n Blake Denlinger has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Grove City College, where he is majoring in English.

He is the son of Gordon and Carolyn Denlinger of Narvon.

n Two students from Lancaster have been named to the dean's list to the dean's list for the fall semester at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. They are Andrew Groff and Ian Lowe.

n Spyros Staikos of Lancaster was named to the fall dean's list at Emory College in Atlanta.

n Minh-Thuy Nguyen of Lancaster has been named to the fall honor list at Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, Mo., where she is majoring in nuclear engineering.

n Matthew Crowe of Lititz was named to the fall dean's list at the University of Pittsburgh, where he is majoring in finance and accounting.

A 2012 graduate of Manheim Township High School, he is the son of Mark and Lisa Crowe.

n Jourdan Brill was named to Temple University's fall dean's list. She is majoring in elementary/early childhood education. A 2009 graduate of Penn Manor High School, she is the daughter of Scott Brill and Dawn Brill-Cooper.

n Alexander Charles of Denver was named to the fall dean's list at Temple University's Fox School of Business, where he is a business management major.

A 2012 graduate of Cocalico High School, Alex is the son of David and Tammy Charles.

n The following local students have been named to the fall dean's list at Widener University School of Law:

Matthew Bleacher of Mount Joy, Kayla Butz of East Earl, Kacy Catalano of Leola, Kathleen Chap of East Petersburg, Rachel Hadrick of Elizabethtown, Jennifer Hundley of Lititz, and Julie Slabinski of Mount Joy.

n Karla Brent of Lancaster has been named to the fall dean's list at Norwich University, Northfield, Vt.

n Jonathan DeVirgilis has been named to the fall dean's list at Temple University, where he is a senior majoring in history. A 2008 graduate of Ephrata High School, he is the son of Roberta and Philip DeVirgilis.

n Ross Ferguson has been named to the fall dean's list at Temple University, where he is a freshman attending the Fox School of Business. A 2011 Graduate of Solanco High School, he is the son of Rick and Michele Ferguson of Kirkwood.

n Zachary Stolz of Lancaster has been named to the honor's list at Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham, Madison, N.J.

n Michael Becker of Lancaster has been named to the fall dean's list at Springfield College, Springfield, Mass., where he is a sport management major.

n Matthew J. Sher was named to the fall dean's list at Villanova University, where he is a junior majoring in computer science.

A 2009 graduate of Hempfield High School, he is the son of Howard and Janice Sher of Landisville.

n Six area students were named to the dean's list for the fall semester at McDaniel College. They are: Cassandra R. Berube of Christiana, high honors; Laura A. Maurer of Lancaster, highest honors; Stephanie C. Meyer of Landisville, honors; Britany N. Miley of Lancaster, high honors; Emily S. Roderick of Lititz, highest honors; and Patrick C. Rogers of Landisville, honors.

n Beth Holmes was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Carlow University, where she is a freshman majoring in Biology.

A 2012 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, she is the daughter of Steve Holmes of Manheim Township and Karen Holmes of East Petersburg.

n Meaghan Cranney was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Philadelphia University, where she is a freshman majoring in fashion industry management. A 2012 graduate of Manheim Township High School, she is the daughter of Colleen Cranney of Manheim Township and William Cranney of Lancaster.

n Jasmine Cassel of Denver was recognized as a Cowles Honor Scholar at Elmira College, Elmira, N.Y.

A biology-chemistry major, she is daughter of James and Patricia Cassel.
