Judith Ray Holbrook
Judith Ray Holbrook, formerly of Mount Joy passed away on February 9, 2013 at her home in York. Fondly known to many as "Judy," she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Marjorie E. Good Holbrook. Born and raised in Dundalk, Maryland, Judy attended Baltimore Business College. She retired from Armstrong World Industries, Lancaster, and later from Tyco (AMP Inc.) Route 230 operations in Mount Joy. During her retirement, she was a partner in "Ship Shape Antiques" in Mount Joy. She enjoyed a good political discussion, doing the daily crossword puzzle, playing her handheld solitaire game, history and reading about Civil War times.Judy moved to Pennsylvania in the early seventies and remained there where she met many people she called Best Friends. She would say, "You know who you are." Judy loved to talk with her niece and great nephews on the phone and vacation in Garden City, SC. She was quick with her comebacks and loved to have fun and laugh with her friends. Most recently, she was a patient at Memorial Hospital, York, and just wanted to "come home." She got her wish. Judy came home and passed away three hours later surrounded by those she loved and who loved her. Linda and Heather would like to extend a sincere "Thank You" to the entire staff of Memorial Hospital who helped care for Judy during her many hospitalizations.

Thank You,
