Horse Racing
The live racing program for Friday evening at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course was canceled due to winter weather conditions. Live racing is set to resume tonight with post time at 6 p.m.
Volleyball
Hempfield senior outside hitter Morgan Lowe has been named an All-America by prepvolleyball. com. Lowe, who will continue her academic and volleyball careers at Lehigh University, was one of 150 players to be selected nationwide by the website. She recorded a team-high 403 kills and helped the Black Knights win the PIAA Class AAA title.
