Police seek man who stole cellphone
BY RYAN ROBINSON, Staff Writer

Police were searching for a robber who stole a cellphone from a woman in the city on Friday, they said.

No weapon was used in the 10:20 a.m. robbery in the 400 block of West Frederick Street, near North Mary Street, city police Sgt. Bill Hickey said.

The victim was not injured and walked to the Franklin & Marshall College security office to report the incident.

The suspect was described as a black male, 19 to 20 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds, Hickey said. He wore a black pea coat-style jacket, a beanie on his head, jeans and white sneakers.

The robber was last seen running south on North Charlotte Street, Hickey said.

Officers in the area stopped two males near Harrisburg Avenue and North Prince Street, but the victim saw them and confirmed that neither was the robber.
