Lizbeth Yoshizu, 57, of Leola, PA, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 5th, at the Community Services home in Leola, where she had resided for fourteen years. Born in Honolulu, HI, she was the daughter of ­Mitsuo Yoshizu of Hawaii and the late Ruth Burns Yoshizu, her loving mother, who passed in April 2000.Lizbeth enjoyed drawing, sorting her tiles and doing crafts at her Day Program at Ephrata Area Rehabilitation Services. Lizbeth was known for her strong and affectionate spirit.She is survived by her father, Mitsuo; several aunts and uncles and her many caregivers at Community Services Group, with whom she enjoyed spending time. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Life Celebration Memorial Service at Fred F. Groff Inc., 234 W. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Monday, Feb. 11th, at 11:00 AM with Pastor R. Victor Shifler officiating. All are welcome to gather at Fred F. Groff Inc. from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Inurnment will be held at the St. John?s Episcopal Church Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorials may be made in Lizbeth?s memory to The Shriners Hospital for Children, 3551 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19140.
